About Locate Driver

Locate Driver is a logistics and transportation application designed for drivers to manage assigned shipments, navigate routes, update shipment status, capture proof of delivery, and provide real-time trip tracking.

Permissions Used

Locate Driver may request the following permissions:

• Camera – To capture proof of delivery, shipment, damage, unloading, and vehicle photographs.
• Location (Foreground) – To display your current location, navigation, ETA calculation, and trip tracking.
• Background Location – To provide continuous live vehicle tracking during active trips, even when the app is minimized or not actively in use.
• Photos / Media Access – To allow users to select and upload images when required.
• Internet – To communicate securely with our servers.

Background Location

Locate Driver collects location data in the background to support the core functionality of the application, including:

• Live vehicle tracking
• Trip monitoring
• Route tracking
• Shipment status updates
• ETA calculation
• Proof of delivery verification
• Operational monitoring during active trips

Background location is collected only to provide logistics services and is never used for advertising, marketing, or profiling users.

Users may disable location permissions at any time through their device settings. However, disabling location access may affect core tracking functionality.

Camera and Photos

The application uses the device camera to capture delivery-related photographs, including proof of delivery, shipment condition, vehicle verification, unloading, damage, and shortage evidence.

Images are uploaded only for logistics operations and are not used for advertising or shared with unauthorized parties.
